You Gotta Want the Win

In the supersized two-hour premiere, Sarah, Mika and Ty will guide their respective teams – married couple Steven and Angelina Jacobs of Waterbury, Connecticut; husband-wife team Josiah and Anna Julian of Baltimore, Maryland; and mother-daughter duo Michelle Mueller and Sydney Lorence of Lincoln, Nebraska – to create the ideal first impression in the living room, the heart of the home that also provides the best ocean views. In the kick-off challenge race through Garden City, the teams will follow clues in hopes of reaching the pier first to win a top advantage: choosing their preferred beach house and assigning the other two properties to the competitors. As the season continues, the teams will design more vacation-worthy rooms, including the kitchens, dining rooms, main suites, guest bedrooms, bathrooms and exteriors.
