A new dawn beckons for the seemingly cursed Birmingham City Football Club thanks to a takeover by a wealthy American consortium led by billionaire Tom Wagner and NFL icon Tom Brady. With fresh investment into the club, there’s plenty of optimism ahead of the 2023/24 season, but the mood quickly sours thanks to a shock managerial change which has unintended and disastrous consequences.
