Bell, who lives with her bedridden father, is wrongfully arrested for drug possession during a party thrown by her politician’s-son boyfriend Top. In prison she quickly becomes enmeshed in the social system and soon becomes the target of a powerful prison gang—only to be saved by feared prisoner Claire.
