Triple D Nation: Funky Flavortown

This trip, Guy Fieri’s checkin’ in with some of the funkiest Flavortown tastemakers. First, a wicked-good waffle spot in Syracuse, N.Y., moved to a bigger downtown location, still crankin’ the tunes and plating new knockouts like the-bomb bulgogi and real-deal Reuben waffles. Next, an Allston, Mass., joint is still bringing mega Mexican flavors to New England with top-shelf seafood and gourmet mushroom asada on scratch-made tortillas. And in Minneapolis, the home of the “Blucy” expanded to two brick-and-mortars, stuffin’ their signature patties with ghost pepper cheese, then topping tots with killer queso and mojo pork.
