When Warren and Tricia bought a recently remodeled house in the perfect neighbourhood, they dreamed of hosting large family holiday gatherings. But soon after moving in, the reality of living in a small house with a tight layout and tiny kitchen set in, and their party plans were put on hold. Now with a three-year-old and a newborn, they need space and function more than ever, so they enlist Drew and Jonathan to take on a major renovation. But as the walls come down, remnants of previous bad renovations surface: illegal electrical, water damage and mold – and Warren and Tricia are forced to make some tough design compromises to stay on budget.
