Alina and Mart

One morning, a woman’s body is found on the beach. The police immediately suspect her daughter, Alina, a drug addict and prostitute. Her partner Reigo is arrested along with Alina. Both remain adamant that they have not killed anyone. When journalist Pille writes a story about Alina as a matricide before the court hearing, it catches the eye of former police officer Mart, who once tried to help teenage Alina. Mart contacts Pille and promises her to find evidence that confirms Alina’s innocence.
