Tragically he passed away last year, leaving Alisha to raise their four-year-old son and maintain the ramshackle five-bedroom property on her own. Alisha is desperate to buy a smaller maintenance-free home, but knows her current property needs a major makeover before it’s ready for market. Drew and Jonathan step in with a creative plan to make the most of her limited budget. In order to get top dollar for Alisha’s place, Jonathan undertakes an ambitious ten-day makeover that stalls when demolishing a stone accent wall proves tougher than expected. Meanwhile, it’s up to Drew to find a brand new suburban home and help Alisha navigate the bittersweet journey along the way.
