Kaname is treated to a home-cooked meal at Hatsuya's home. Hatsuya says that thanks to Kaname, he has gradually begun to enjoy his work, even though he was not very good at communicating. Hearing this, Kaname is filled with joy. When Kaname comes home after playing to his heart's content with the two large dogs living in the house, his landlord, Yasuji, is concerned about him, even as he speaks nasty things to him.
