The Motive

As a result of a shooting in one of the Gdańsk restaurants, Luiza Porębska and her husband Maks are injured. Her employee Anna Czarnecka, who tried to flee the country after the event, becomes a suspect. The woman pleads not guilty, suggesting that Luisa is involved in the incident. The case is handled by Commissioner Paweł Szulc, an investigator with big problems in his personal life. Both women blame each other and investigation reveals that the three are high school friends.
